Tell us something about yourself

I hail from Punjab and was crowned Mr.North India and Mr.Punjab, My tough looks and height and physique and blessed with a magnetic personality which was appreciated by one and all.

What were the highpoints of your career?

My role as Captain Abrar in Yash raj films ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ was the turning point in my career.I starred opposite Salman Khan.I continued my association with YRF and the Ek Tha Tiger franchisee which made me a huge star.

You were a star in Punjabi films too.

Yes.I did various roles in 13 Punjabi films which made me superstar in Punjabi films too.Idid heroic and negative chracters too.I played more than much hued characters.Then I ventured into Production with my banner Gavie Chahal films.with hit films like Sangrand  which was a huge hit with regional audiences and added to the may feathers in my cap. My next production State vs Soldier is in post production and is based on the life of soldiers in the Indian army.and is a tribute to our heroic soldiers.

Whats next?

I have a film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui produced by Anuj Sharma and Khushagra Sharma and also a web series with a leading production house which is under post production.  I am also into philanthropy with my Gavie Chahal Foundation.I supprt various social issues like education to disaster relief.. I am also a TV Star having won the reality show Fear Factor., I perform my own stunts.I have come a long way in the industry from Punjab.My mantra is ” not just about acting but connecting with people from all walks of life “.and telling humane stories.”.
